• Have experience with equines.

Job Description Summary:

The Equine Groom works under the direction of the Ranch Owners and the Lead Equine Groom.  Generally, the Equine Groom and is responsible for the daily care of the horses and maintenance of the ranch facilities. Daily tasks include but are not limited to feeding, cleaning stalls, grooming horses, and turning horses out to pasture. The Groom also administers medication and first aid under the direction of the Ranch Owner, the Lead Equine Groom or Horse Owner and assists veterinarians and farriers as needed. 

The job requires experience with equine behavior, physical strength, working in extreme weather conditions, attention to detail, reliability and a commitment to teamwork.
